Copper Test Question?

I have a sea test copper test kit and when I do the test the color I get seems to be more of a yellow color than a brown(like the test kits color chart). My yellow is darker than .5 and I think darker than .10 but I can't tell for sure if it's .15 or not because of the yellow tint it has(it doesn't have any brown in it!) Help please! I don't want to be doing all this and find out I haven't had enough copper in the water !

Are you reffering to the "red sea" brand tests, I have always had trouble with this brand (although I don't have the copper one)
I hate to put down any particular brand because I'm sure they make lots of good stuff too, but their tests are not one of them in my opinion---get a new one.
