copper water

Can I empty out water with copper meds in it into the same bucket that I use for my main tank with corals in it.
or is it best to have 2 different buckets?

If you refill the display from that bucket, I'd say use a diffrent one. If you're not going to wash aquarium equiptment in the waste water, you can always use an icky household bucket for waste. If you're making up new medicated water, I'd get another new bucket.
