Has anyone here kept or is keeping a copperband butterfly fish in a soft coral reef tank? Please list any good or bad experiences. I'm trying to decide weather or not to add one. Thanks

I wouldn't put them with soft corals or Large polyped stony corals (lps) .. but they're fine with SPS .. I've kept a copperbanded butterfly in a tank with only sps corals with no trouble at all

well in the wild a coppebands diet consists of corals, inverts, and some sponges. from what ive heard there r species of butterfly closely related to the copperband that r not suitable for captivity becuz they only eat corals, including SPS, not sayin it wont work just sayin large chance of him eatin em
