well i bought this copperband about a week and half ago hes been doin real good but i noticed he had a small case of ich (prob from the petstore) about 3 days after i got him, he was still very active and eating , so i turned everything off i did let my filters run but with no carbon and started dosing the tank with the kordon ich attack reef safe, since i dont have a sump atm ive been doin half the doeses of what the instructions said straight into the tank twice a day. I treated the tank for 4 days the ich was completey gone i then did a small cleanup and water chnage turned everything back on things were great. 2 days later i turned the light on that morning the copperband had ich again but pretty much twice as bad. for the 3rd day hes like about to die idk why upset payed 30 bucks for him please give me some advise or help if its not alrdy to late

Hypo is your best bet. If it can handle it. But after u can't put it in the same tank. It needs a qt

If u can get the crabs out short term hypo the whole tank. You want the salinity low. 1.10-1.11 but it has to b exact.

Hi...
Remove all fish from that tank and let it sit for 8 weeks to get rid of the parasite. Treat the fish in a hospital tank with hypo (you MUST have a refractometer) or copper. You need a QT if you are still stocking your tank. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, is so true concerning SW tanks.
It's impossible to remove all inverts from the display, tiny creatures live in the rocks and sand. You must remove the fish and treat them in a separate tank.
If I have not already said it....Welcome to the site!
