Coral Acclimation?

How do you all acclimate your new corals? Like mushrooms, zoos, polyps, leathers, and stuff like that. Do you drip them for a while, or just temp. acclimate them?

I temp and water acclimate all corals that go into my tank. In many cases the water in your LFS is vastly different then what is in your tank (ALK, CA, PH, Salinity, Ect) and in my opinion, it is much safer and easier on your corals to take the time to acclimate properly. I'd say that 95% of all the SPS I've added to my have had polyp extention within 10 minutes of adding to my tank doing this and I have only lost 1 wild caught colony.

Okay, thanks for the replies...I am just looking into getting some mushrooms and yellow polyps to start out. I just wanted to see how everyone acclimated them just so I am on the right track. I figured on dripping them, but I had to see what you all did as well. Thanks
