Coral Banded Shrimp eats up Cleaner Shrimp

I have two beautiful "one inch size" cleaner shrimps that has been doing great service cleaning parasites off my fishes in my FOWLR 75g.
Went to the lfs the other day and was suddenly captivated (doesn't that always happen to us? :) ) by the beauty of one huge (about 2 and a half inch length) coral banded shrimp with those cool looking menacing claws. (This dude is pretty cool and majestic)
Intend to buy one. BUT.......
Will these huge coral banded shrimp eats up my one inch long cleaner shrimps that has been keeping the parasite level low in my show tank?
Any incompatibility of coral banded shrimps to other inverts/fishes that I should know about? I would appreciate to hear from your experience....
I heard that only one CBS is allowed in a tank? Does anyone have success with more than one?
BTW, you guys have been great. I like this board a lot :)

I have two coral banded shrimp (one yellow and one blue/purple). They leave my cleaners alone, and everything else including each other. They are reef safe (I have never have a problem). If you intend to get more than one, make sure they are either a mated pair or different species and have several different cave systems for them to hide in. You will probably not see much of them for the first month as they will hide, but after a while they will start coming out (particulaly when you turn the lights off).
Hope this helps.

Yep, CBS will eat other shrimp. I should know our CBS enjoyed a nice shrimp dinner the other night. My guy likes the CBS so the CBS will get to enjoy a few more shrimp dinners...
Our CBS has been in the same spot since we got him, only those who dare to go near "his" spot are in trouble. He has not hurt my fish but if one of the Clowns touch his tenicals while swimming he freaks. Actually he freaks if anything gets near him...I pressed my nose to the glass and he tried to pinch it...but at least he looks good?
Old tang- CBS ate your salley lightfoot? I guess i'm lucky the CBS stays put in his place and that the sally has not moved anywhere near him. But thanks, i'll keep and eye out on Sally.

My CBS does not bother my Cleaner Shrimp, SallyLightfoot, or anything else in my tank. I would not put two together though unless they are a mated pair.

some people have gotten lucky, but with the cbs, it has notheing to do with size, you could have a 4 inch cleaner(no they don't get that big) and a 1/2 inch cbs, and the odds of him getting aggressive towards any other shrimp are still good, so i personally would not get teh cbs, they almost(i did say almost) always become the ONE shrimp in your tank(eventually), and i will not be the one to think mine will be one of the exceptions, my cleaners wer almost 30$, besides, i like all the stuff in my tank too much to risk killing any

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I appreciate it a lot :)
I think i'll give the CBS a miss...the risk is just not worth to take <img src="graemlins//dead.gif" border="0" alt="[dead]" />

Wow, I am glad I read this post since I was JUST about to add a coral banded shrimp to my tank that already has 3 cleaner shrimp. Thanx for the heads-up guys ;)
