Yesterday while shopping around at different stores I happened across a shrimp I had never seen before. It was a coral banded shrimp with a purple head(thus called a purple cbs). We're talking not a faded purple but a very deep, bright purple that continued into his body. Very cool! Almost got him just because I had never seen one before but I resisted. He was pretty small and going for $30.

I purchased a CB shrimp from SWF and when it arrieved it has a purple body and head. It is about the size of my hand and twice the size of my other CB also purchased from SWF. My gues is that the one with purple on it is a older more mature shrimp. How large was the CB you seen in the store? :)
