CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO CAPTURE / REMOVE A CORAL BANDED SHRIMP FROM MY REEF TANK? I HAVE HAD THIS SHRIMP FOR ABOUT 9 MONTHS & HAVE NOTICED THE DISAPPEARANCE OF SOME SMALLER FISH. TWICE NOW I HAVE CAUGHT THE SHRIMP USING ITS PINCHERS ON FISH & IT ACTUALLY HAS CAUGHT & DRAGGED OF A FISH ( I DID RESCUE MY MANDARIN THE OTHER DAY. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! OUT!

Sorry don't mean to laugh at you!!!!!! I watch my 2 CB play tag with my Tangs and over the past 4 years it's become sort of a game I think between them all....The tangs seem to tease or taunt the CB by invading their space.....I guess I've been lucky and no loses (knock on wood).....The only thing you could do is get a trap and see if you could intice him into the trap by baiting it with some food????

Another option is to place a large net inside the tank for a few days . Let the cbs get acoustomed to crawling around, in, and over it. Then when the oportunity presents itself try to swoop/ drag..or whop it upside the head(kidding) to get it out of the tank. I have done this a few times w/varying degrees of success. I have had the same prob with my cbs. I just havent been will to destroy he tank to get him out. Was hoping he would just pass on but all he does is keep getting bigger. He is over 5 years old. If i have my way tho he wont make 6....
