Can I add another CBS to my 12 gallon nano tank? I have one who seems quite happy, but wanted another. Do you think one will kill the other?

It is possible to purchase mated pairs of CBS but chances are that if you add another CBS to an established aquarium that already has a CBS, that one will kill the other.

My understanding is that they don't like each other. If you want another shrimp, why not get something different from what you already have?

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I wanted a fire shrimp, but I'm quite happy with the CBS. He think's he is king of the "rock" in the tank.

I kept a CBS with a cleaner shrimp for quite a while, so I don't know about that.
