Coral banded shrimp

It says that they are peaceful, but mine clipped a tentacle off of my cleaner shrimp and also pinches at my angel fish. Anyone else have any experience with or knowledge of the coral banded shrimp?

Just like anything else in saltwater, some are well behaved and some are killers. I've had one for three years in a 33 gallon with small fish and a cleaner with no problem.

i currently have 3 coral banded, 2 cleaner, and 4 peps in my 125 reef...no problems :
how much rockwork are you providing them?
they all love hiding but obviously, if there isn't enough hiding places then they are bound to get into a "this is my house" argument. Also, you might try re-arranging the rockwork all together to disorient all livestock so all the "prime real estate" is up for grabs again.

you should only have 1 cbs per tank. sooner or later they will get territorial and one will kill the other two (unless they are a mated pair) IMO not a good idea.

when I got them, I bought all three at the same time. I was told by the dealer that they had been in the tank together with no problems (and you know how small those holding tanks are). I'v had them for nearly 2 months with no problems whatsoever. If I happen to see something's up then I won't hesitate to return some to the store. Good lookin out though! hehe

so yeah, my coral banded appears to enjoy snacking on my blue legged hermit crabs. Not cool, not cool. every time I look at him I just see blue little legs sticking out of his mouth. I want to just take the crabs out of there, but then i'm afraid he'll go my snails and/or fish.

ive had 2 cbs in the same tank since October and they have there own little spot in the tank they both hang out in. Even when i moved them from my 54 corner to my 265 they both found each other and occupied the same little cave.
they where not added to the first tank at the same time so i must assume they have paired up since then .
just like petjunkie said some are nice and some are killers.
