will a coral banded shrimp kill an asterina sea star?

Sorry...but if you had done your research, you would have known it would kill the cleaner shrimp. So the fault is yours, and the poor cleaner paid the price.

coral banded shrimp can and have eaten fish and def. other shrimp... stars (brittle stars I know for sure) are one of the few things they dont eat, lol

I prefer the CB over all the other shrimp, and would only keep it by itself....They are a bit hard on CUC as well......I've kept 2 before in the same tank, and they didn't venture past the 1/2 way point of the tank respecting the others territory.....

I'm sure they eat small reef fish though..
