Coral Banded shrimp

Do these have to be fed, or will they scavange for all their food?

mine goes crazy when i feed, so i don't hand feed him anything. he does a pretty good job of taking care of himself.

CBS tend to be very skiddish, most of the time, so whenever I feed mine he always hides. I think he just pretty much scavenges around for food that will occasioanlly float to the bottom.

I've only had mine a little over a week, but all he does is pick at the rocks all day. Seems to be pretty happy and moves around pretty well, so I am not worried.

Not mine. He is a bulldozer.
I do feed all my bottom dwellers once or twice a week.
Sinking pellets, silversides, anything that sinks.

The one I had use to eat krill off a feeding stick and I would feed it shrimp pellets a couple times a week.

mine goes after the food just as much as the fish, you dont have to worry about him getting enough to eat
