Coral beauty acting strange!?

All the other fish are swimming around the 135 nicely obeying traffic and staying in their lanes. My 2 year old coral beauty is swimming vertical laps up and down the back corner of the tank circling the powerhead and down again. Sometimes it swims across the tank but it keeps going back and doing this over and over and is swimming fairly fast. It's been doing this for hours.

My newish coral beauty does the same thing. It's like he is on speed almost all the time. He will do crazy ass laps around the tank, take a break, then swim up and down a couple 20 times then take a break, repeat. 200 gallon tank, so he is getting pretty buff

I hadn't thought of that, you are probably right

but, I told her we still get play for the National Championship and she's still doing it. 3 days in a row now. Come to think of it, I've been acting kind of crazy since that game myself.

No, not the way she's doing it. I think she quite. I haven't seen her do it tonight at all. I hope I didn't just jinx it.

Wrassecal...I've got a coral beauty that plays the same way...sort of.
Mine seems to actually "surf" on the current of my powerheads...sometimes it'll surf away on the current other times it will actually fight to swim against the current. I've seen mine repeatedly sneak up on the flow from a powerhead from the back side and catch a "wave" ...mine seems to enjoy this kind of antic....some days it'll play non stop...other days not at all.
...true...your Sooners may be playin' in the BS bowl...but the bottom line is National Championship or not...Kansas kicked thier butt in the "Big 12 Championship!!!!"

Well that's good news about the coral beauty. I guess mine just took a couple years to catch on to the game. As far as the football game goes, KState deserved the win, we sucked in every way possible. Not to worry though, we'll take home the Big Prize and there won't be any controversy cause Michigan will handle "The boys from Troy":cheer:
