Just got a new Coral Beauty Angel, she's in QT and has started getting what looks like a white ring around the top of her right eye, i don't think its popeye because her actual eye is fine but its just in that one spot that it is discolored, any ideas?

It could be the beginning of HLLE. What are you feeding the fish? And, what are your water readings in the QT?

the diet consists of a large amount of algae from a piece of live rock i have in with her that she seems to love as she is always picking at it, also i am feeding her flake food, brine, a mixture of frozen shrimp/squid/octopus/crab, and a mixture that has seaweed and cowsheart soaked in garlic.
She's eating as far as I can tell, I don't feed her large amounts of food but what I do feed her she eats.
The QT's perims are all pretty good, no ammonia or trites and low nitrates, temperature is 79-80, salinity is 1.023.
Recently noticed she has a little bit of a cloud beginning on the eye the white patch is near, definately not good i don't think. If I can get a picture of it I will.
Everyone has told me these fish are hardy and then I did a search on them in the disease forum alone and got a lot of hits that sound similar to this, why are people saying this fish is hardy?

thank you Terry i will try it. If I can't find this medicine is there a chance the eye will heal over time because this fish was indeed netted with much of my disaprovement.
I'll check my fish when I get home tonight and give a report, where can I find this medicine at btw? Thank you for the responses so far. I've learned something from all this....before you buy a fish do a search on the fish's name in the disease and treatment forum alone and see how many hits you get, if you get a lot of hits this fish probably isn't too resistant against diseases.
