Many fish become pale at night and some will show spots. For example, my Naso gets HUGE white spots all over her body at night. My Coral Beauty looses color at night and gets very pale. I've never really noticed white spots on her, but she really wedges herself into the rock work and I try not to disturb my fish at night.
I'm assuming you didn't QT this fish so ich can't be ruled out?
If it's eating well, acting normal and you're not seeing anything on it during the day, I wouldn't be overly concerned. Just monitor it.
