Coral Beauty Rubbing against rockwork

I think my Coral Beauty is sick.
I first observed him hanging out with my Coral Banded Shrimp and thought, awe look at that, they’ve paired up. But I noticed that the coral beauty actually turns into the shrimp exposing his side so I thought, oh, he must think the shrimps a cleaner shrimp.
The next day I observed a new behavior in the Coral Beauty, he swims up to a rock and darts at it really quickly at it, rubbing his right gill against it. It’s hard to tell, since he won’t hold still, but it looks as if he is rubbing that side raw.
The tank is well established and several years old.
I just got the coral beauty about two weeks ago.
Any ideas?

If you have Ich which is the more likely scenario, you should start seeing it on the fish at some point. Your fish is just trying to get the pesty things off his body.

Thanks for the replies. I hate getting fish from anywhere but Saltwaterfish.com. I have never had a problem shopping from here, but each time I get a fish from the lfs I have problems.

All fish, regardless of where they come from can bring parasites.
Can't see a supplier being able to maintain an absolutely parasite free system. They can do a lot to help contain/minimize it but not totally eliminate it.
QT is the way to go, always!
