hi, i have a 75 gal fowlr setup with cc base, 2 emperor 400 filters and 2 maxi jet ph. tank has cycled, amonia 0,nitrite 0, nitrate 10,salanity 1.021 and i maintain a 77 deg. temp, ph 8.2. i put in a blue damsel and a tomato clown to help cycle the tank, both are doing great after 5 weeks! yesterday i picked up a coral beauty that i had ordered from my lfs, they kept it for a week and it looked great when i picked it up, they fed it for me and everything was perfect. i brought it home (1 1/2 hr drive) in a heated styrofoam container and followed the acclamation procedures to a tee. i woke up this am to find the beauty lying on its side barely breathing. i know from reading past posts here that it is not uncommon to have a new fish go into shock and take some time to recover, but being new to this hobby its really hard not to try something ! i do not have a qt tank yet, the other two fish dont seem to be paying any attention to the beauty as of yet. any suggestions ?
