Coral Beauty Won't Eat What He Is Supposed To !

I am worried that my newest additon to the tank may not fare well. He seems real healthy and looks great, but only snipps at live brine, frozen misis shrimp, formula 2 and special pygmy angel food. He is constantly pecking at the rocks.
How do I know if he is getting enough to eat and what other foods might help boost the appetite ?
