I had a coral beauty in my 50 gal tank and he would not eat , I tried a variety of food ranging from shrimp, flake food, and these brownish/red cubes that my LFS told me to use. I had him for a week and he just would not eat. He would swim up to the food and then turn away and not eat. This morning when I woke up he was dead.
I have had the tank for about 6 weeks . All levels were normal except nitrates which was about 15. Then after I intorduced him into the tank the amonnia level went to .25 as well as the nitrite. pH was 8 . Salinity is 1.0026. 30 lbs of live rock and a 4 inch base of live sand. 2 chromis , 8 turbo snails and 2 rock anemones.
anyone else ever had this issue? I thought that coral beautys were some of the more hardy dwarf angle fish.
Thanks!
