coral dying, HELP!

We got a coral last night and now it has this brown slimmy stuff on it that is coming off and now they are going back in... the lights are on. Does anyone know what this is or is this a sign of death? I'll attach a pic.

Hi, New2. It is likely just the coral acclimating. How did you acclimate the coral, what kind of coral is it, what lighting do you have?
