Coral Help

I want to get Hammer coral and Frogspawn Coral.
I went to SWF.com and they show that
Hammer coral CARE LEVEL is moderate and
Frogspawn Coral Care lever
is EXPERT.
yet... this forum says that both of these are starter coral...
PLEASE EXPLAIN..

my experience with euphyllia is that the care level for the different types (hammer, frogspawn, torch) are the same

For the coral you need to put it in the right water flow (moderate), The light must be PCs, T5s, or MH and the right placement from them, and good water numbers...
So what test kits do you have and how often do you use them?

I don't remember the brand, but i use them every week
Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 5 to 10, PH is 8.4,
salt lever is 1.26

Blue Palm Coral, is it HARD or Easy to take of?
do you have too feed it?
do you recomend it?

seeing as you're a bit new to this hobby, i would say no this is not a beginner coral. its actually a tunicate

You should start testing calcium as well if you're going to start with corals. Buying a refractometer would be a good investment too. Hydrometers aren't super accurate and could be off easily.
