I've seen them in books as a Splitlevel Hogfish, and a quick Google search on them revealed they're in the wrasse family, get to about 25 cm.
Morphology: Juveniles and adults resemble their counterparts of B. axillaris, but juveniles have yellow rather than white spots and adults have well-defined black band between the light and dark portions of the body and lack ocelli on the dorsal and anal fins.
Biology: Inhabits coral-rich outer reef slopes at depths of 5 to over 20 m, particularly near caves. Juveniles in caves; adults swim openly about, but usually close to the substrate, and often engage in cleaning larger fishes
Apart from books, have never seen one in a LFS, but my Google search revealed a few online places you can get one for about $20.
Revealed some cool pics too:

^ above picture is of a juvenile.
Below picture is an adult. This shift in color takes only a few weeks. That's got to be pretty interesting to watch, a shift that radical in only a couple weeks.

Wow, I didn't know they went through such a color change.
Hogs are a great fish. I had a hog in my 75 for almost a year, but unfortunately my grouper that I had in there went after him one day relentlessly and I was unable to get the hog out in time.
Great fish though, and definitely a very active fish. One good thing about them is that unlike the wrasse, they do not burrow in the substrate :D

I have a Coral Hog and it is a great fish very active, and entertaining everytime I am near the tank it follows my movements and accepts food out of my hand. It will also snatch food out of the mouths of my small triggers(Bursa,Niger).

His tank mates are a small Bursa and small Niger Trigger and a 2 inch Valentini Puffer. The only aggression is mostly during feeding time and he is just really going after the food, other than that it is usually the Triggers that will chase him away if he is near one of there caves.
