defin soft.
any tips on how to keep it? i read about lighting requirements and all that, im wondering more about where you position it in the tank? i read low flow so out of the way of the powerheads/filter but does that mean somewhere on the tank floor or should it be perched up on live rock (while on its little rock its attached to)?

Its a mushroom. As long as the pump outlets are not pointing directly at it, it should be fine anywhere.
