how long will coral live with perfect conditions? i am talking about one pollyp

they can live forever as far as i know under the perfect condition.

Ya, pretty sure. But the odds of nothing going wrong is what keeps the coral population in check lol.

lol. in the ocean, the avg age of any coral is about 5-7 years.
