Coral - Lights

Do soft corals do better with MH lights than PC lights, or does it matter? Do they feed off the light like anemones do?

Most corals will do better with more intense light. Yes soft corals are photosynthetic unless specified otherwise. Most soft corals do fine under std PC's but I think if given the choice most SW fish tank owners would perfer to have MH's. Well at least I would.
