Coral of the Week?

What ever happened to the coral of the week idea? I don't remember who came up with the idea, but I only remember seeing it that one time. I think we could all benifit from something like this. It would also be interesting to see the pics or hear others experience with different corals.

I actually started a thread asking the samething the other day but something came up in my office and couldn't send it.

That was my idea and I did intend to follow up on it but things have gotten out of hand ... family stuff and work. The first "coral of the week" went over really well and I'll be posting another real soon. I agree that a little extra focus on one particular coral can be helpful...thanks for expressing interest. It makes a really old and cranky man feel special...LMAO...

NM Reef,
I was wondering about that, too. But I saw that you were busy with family stuff. Sorry to hear about your loss; my dad passed away three years ago yesterday. :( But I know he's no longer in pain and is in a much better place. I do miss him, though.
I just got a fox coral, so the first "coral of the week" segment was great to reference. I also got a hammer/anchor, a bubble, some unidentified polyps, and an unidentified pink softy. I think it may be a pink nepthea tree (sp?), but I'm having trouble with an ID since I don't have access to a digital camera.
Anyway, it would be GREAT if we could coax you into keeping up with the "COW" (LOL, funny acronym)!
