Sorry I'm new Can anybody direct me to a thread on just reef only tank, no fish. I am interested in starting a 8 gallon bio-cube reef only tank.
Thanks for checking out my thread.

Typically these are frag tanks. But with a tank that small you would only have one fish anyhow so that is cool if you decide to do coral only. You would have a low bioload and wouldn't have to worry about fish knocking coral over. Would you be putting inverts into the tank?

I see you have a 29 gal tank with coral comming. Setting up your 8 gal would be the same thing.
Just make sure your lighting is good enough for the coral you want to get. Most tanks can be upgraded, but I'm pretty sure the 8 gal would come with enough lighting for your basic soft coral.
I would stay in this thread and jump to the reef forums as well. Between them both you should get all the help you need. If you have any questions just post them and you will get good advise.
welcome to the boards!

I was not planning on putting in inverts. Maybe if I come across one that I like I may. As of now just corals, if I was to use this 8 gallon coral only tank for a qt tank would this be bad? could it possibly sicken my corals.
Thanks,
