I wanted to know where is the best Placement of a Forg spawn and a hammer coral in the tank. I have read at the bottom for the frog spawn and the top for a hammer. I just wanted to find out because i have read different placements for them.
Thanks

I would say place them where ever there isn't another coral within 1 ft. Both have sweeper tentacles and can sting neighboring corals. I keep my torch, frogspawn and hammer all on the sandbed away from other corals.

Ok thanks, i have the frog on the sand and the hammer on one of my LR about 1 foot away from itbut it is on the LR which is a big piece and also high. I think i would be ok.
Also, what do u feed them if anything?
My LFS said they need zooplankton or pytoplakton. Is this ture.

meaty foods are best. cyclo-peeze, misis shrimp. larger foods. have you ever seen the mouth in the center of a head of frogspawn?
you can turn the flow down/off and put a piece of meaty food on the tentacles and it will take it in very slowly.
it doesn't have to be fed though. good lighting is enough.

Both my FS and Hammer opened up today. They are looking wounderful. I saw the mouth on the FS, it looks verycool. It is like a neon green color. I will take some pics of them and my tank, i have not posted any updated pics in a while
