coral placement???

Do you have to place coral on live rock or can it go on base rock too. does anyone no a website that explains placement of coral.

You can place corals anywhere you wish. You can place them on LR, base rock, or the substrate. It is all up to you and how you want your tank to look.
Keep in mind however that certain corals have certain needs.
Some corals like more light then others and some like more current then others.
For example, you may want to put a light loving coral at the top of your LR formation.
