Coral prices already rising?!?!

Ok, I don't know about everybody else, but I have seen a huge increase in cost of certain corals. I have noticed hammers, some mushrooms, and some sps corals in lfs's around here (GA), that cost almost 2/3 more than they did a month or two ago. They said it was because they are more limited to what and how much they can order now because of depleting resources!! IS THIS TRUE!?!? I thought it was a marketing shceme around GA, but they said it's happening everywhere? What's the deal?! Has anybody else noticed these price increases?

You know what, I think you're right. Because I went into "Fish Store and More" yesterday and instead of getting "hooked" as usual, I left with just what I came for. Why? Because I looked at a hammer, just like you mentioned, and it was dang near a hundred bucks. Two weeks ago one the same size was only like 65. I was astounded. Oh well. That's good for now I guess. Because I need to stop spending so much on mah tank.
