about a month ago i caught a bristol worm chewing a hole in my toad stool and since then it had gone yellow and has fallen apart every day it gets a little smaller but the polyps still come out. also i have a kenya tree that looks like its starting to fall apart around the base.
whats happening and what should i do?

A two tone (rusty & tan color) bristle worm is not a coral eater, but a damaged dying coral would be eaten to clean things up...OR...what you saw was a bobitworm which is a coral eater.
