Ummmm didnt you just answer your own question?
Im not being a smart A$$ LOL seriously I just read your post 3 times.
You asked if your wisker coral could hurt any sps around it. But you said that the corals around it are peacful and so is the wisker. I would have to say no then if all inhabitants are peacful your pretty much good to go.
ops. sorry i'm at work and was talking to a friend..lol and trying to get my question out. WOW!!!!
I meant if all corals are peaceful then they dont care if another coral is touching them that is peaceful?
Question 2 is what does it mean by semi Aggressive or aggressive corals?
LOL then yes you are correct. Typically peacful means they will not harm other peaceful neigbhors.
Semi aggessive and aggressive are relative to different circumstances IMO. But for the most part semi aggressive will mean that if another coral touches it then it will sting them. Whereas aggressive means if there is a conflicting coral close to it then war can still take place. Some corals have the ability to release their stinging cells so nearby neigbhors can get stung.
Some coral can exhibit strong allelopathy toward other coral. In other words they fight. Typically any LPS is not safe near an SPS. SPS are extremely delicate for the most part and any disturbance can cause rapid bleaching events. I really have no clue what you are referring to as a whisker coral as that is a generic term for several LPS from Duncanopsammia to Euphyllia glaberescens but I would guess you don't want them to touch either way.
Its called Whisker Coral (Duncanopsammia axifuga). After i posted i finally found a place on the web that says its peaceful. Man not many people carry this coral.
I need to buy a coral book... (Light bulb turned on over head) Uuuwww something els to add for my Christmas list.

Duncans are ok you missed the big hoopla over them though they were selling for hundreds of dollars a head. Enjoy it they are nice but dont let it touch any SPS, trust me on that.
