Coral question

Im going to be starting a new tank with coral in it.My question is how will i know when a coral dies gets eaten on etc...Can someone lighten me on this Thank you

you will just know. hard corals turn white. shrooms just wither down to nothing. leathers waste away. just trust me you will know when a coral dies.
