Coral question

I have just finished the 3 week process of "curing our tank" and am now ready to begin adding "things". I would like to add some coral but I have a really silly question.....How do you attach them to the rock?? Do they just know what to do when you put them in??
Thanks for replies, laughs and other information to my post!

First...3 weeks to cycle a new tank seems very quick. Are you confident the cycle has completed? Can you post water quality info?
Second...most new coral purchases will be already attached to a piece of LR and can be placed in your aquarium as is...but if your system isn't stable and able to provide adaquate conditions you may want to reconsider adding corals for a while.

Well our water tests including 2 water changes indicate that our levels are remaining stable at 0 on ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates and our ph is stable at 8.0 - 8.2 our living rock had to "recure" after we put it in the tank but our ammonia did not surge and continues to remain at desired levels. Our aquatic mentor says our tank appears to be ready to go for some corals and maybe some hardy scavengers......we have a sand bed and all of our filters are operating effectively with no immediate problems I can foresee at this point.
Thanks for your reply.
