I want to get a sea apple, and afew sponges but i need to get afew things clear first, can anyone help?
the same questions apply for both types of coral:
1. How do I pick a healthy 1?
2. How and what do I feed it?
3. Is it ok with a sand bed?
4. How do I tell if it sick or dying?
5. What do I do if it dies (ie-will it foul the water/leach poison into the water)
6. Can I do a coral dip on it/or is it to risky?
7. Can I remove it from the water when I come to place it in the QT/DT
8. What kind of lighting and water current does it need?
9. When the fish eat the sponge, does it grow back or is it considered dead?

I dunno some of your quastions. But I would only get a sea apple if I have 5 years exprience with SWF. They are very hard to care for. I would not recomend a sea apple to you.
2. You feed them Phytoplankton im pretty shure.
3. Yes
5. If a sea apple looks ill or dying, remove it emditly. It will poisin the entire tank.
6. No
7. No. Never remove a sponge from te water even if it is 0.001 seconds long. The air will get stuk in the channels of the sponge and will kill it.
8. No type. Sponges need moderate to stong current
9. It will grow back but if your fish start to pick at it, I would remove the sponge from the tank and the sea apple.
