Hello,
I just added some star polyps, Green Eye Zoo's and some green stiped Mush rooms. They have been in my tank for about 2 1/2 weeks. Every thing is going good. My question is this...how long will it take for these corals to spread? Do star Polyps generally spread fast?

Stars usually spread fast, then again maybe not. There is really no stock answer. There are just to many factors involved in a closed system. Just sit back enjoy what you have and let nature and your system do their thing

KILL the GSP while you still have a chance. Once the GSP get started its a fight to keep them cut back. I have to scrape about doller bill size out every other month to keep them from growing over my red zoe's.

the star polops growth is directly related to light quality. They will spred faily quickly, but are easily controlled with proper placement.
