coral questions

im new to the whole coral reef set up, but ive had fish my whole life (sw and fw). so i just got some decent lights and would like to know what kinds of coral will work out good with my lighting set up. ive got 384 watts of pc lighting :joy:. its no mh set up

but its what i can do right now. so lets hear it whats everyones favorite coral that would be ok in this lighting. i have been looking online at some different types of coral and was wondering about colt coral? also id probably need mh lights for clams....correct? well ive got tons of questions but for now that will get me started, so lets hear it and thanks for all and any suggestions.

Yes you would need MH for clams,but you have alot of things you can keep with your lighting such as frog spawn,hammer,colt,shrooms,zoos,torch,and all different kinds of star polyps too.That is just a start for what you can have and just about all of them are very hardy as well.What size tank do you have?If you post this in the reef forum you will get much more help there!

i live in north ft. myers and we are preping for a close call. ive got my generator all ready to go if the power gos out, but id still like to wait to get anything until after the storm. right now ive got a 75gal tank, and just like everyone else in here (probably) id like to get a bigger tank some day. i live in a manufactured house so id definitly need to brace the floor but ive got a good spot for something around a 300 or 400gal tank.
