Hey all,
I have a few questions about some corals in my tank:
1. I have had what I thought was a single zoo polyp in my tank since it hitched in on my LR... but it hasn't spread at all and instead has grown from a small polyp into a 'large' polyp. (been in my tank for almost 7 months)
How can I get this little guy to spread?
Is it possible it isn't a zoo but just a zoo-like growth that might need spot feeding of something?
2. I have some green/pink mushrooms in my tank that were not identified properly at purchase they might be ricordia or hairy... do you need to feed these corals for growth?
3. If feeding is required for either of these... how often and what should I feed?
Info about my tank to help:
30g
no trates (never a reading)
5+ watts per gallon (metal halide)
medium flow
Thanks guys
