Coral,Sand or nothing?

My LFS recommended that I don't put anything on the bottom of my reef tank. They said it would be much easier to clean. I was thinking about using live sand. Right now the live rock is sitting directly on the glass. Is it too late to add sand? The rock is still curing. I think sand looks much better. What do you suggest?

Yes you can add it now. The only problem will be when the cloud clears the rock will be covered with a white dust.But this will not hurt anything.
