We are now selling these mini pc's at our store. They are about 7-8' long and put off an awsome light. It comes w/ a 10k and actinic. I'm trying to find a tank that these will fit. Any suggestions?

I have a one gallon hex that would fit over nicely ....
yeah 6.625" sounds a lot better than 7-8' 9 watts spread over 7 feet would be little to no light!!
Would make a nice desktop nano- light!

huh? I meant inches... I'm confused. The whole fixture is about 7 inches long. Inside are two 9w tubes. You say they make these for the 2.5's? Can you send me some info on em? The tanks that is. That's a good idea puting it on a desk. My fiance and I were gonna get one for each nightstand. There's one on both sides of the bed. She'll do hers the way she wants, and I'll do mine. I'll time them so I can watch it when I'm going to sleep at night. I'm thinking of doing one in the bathroom too. You know- something to look at while one is doing their business. Better than reading b/c you never get to finish what you started reading. At least I don't. :( :D

Hey, fishkiller,
Do you work at the Pet Store in Athens? I go to Georgia Tech and stop by there on my way home to Washington occasionally (I was there today actually). Anyway, I was just wondering. I never noticed that before.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do...... I hope I don't get in trouble here for this........ We are expanding A LOT. We are getting in a lot of new tanks and accessories. We have a sale right now- 75 gallon for $75. And an awsome deal on the stands for them too. There are like 1 or 2 left as of yesterday. I'm the big dude, (6'5), and that's what I'm known as around work.... I believe the OTHER store in Athens, (yes there are only 2 stores in athens), will be closing soon. We are slaughtering them and taking away all of there customers. Could be cuz nobody there knows anything about sw except maybe sg levels and the difference b/t reef and aggressive setups. Even that is too much for some of the kids working there. Stop on by, we are getting a huge shipment in soon.
