Has anyone had problems with this power strip? Been through 2 already in under a month. Both problems the timer quits working? Anyone experienced the same?

That could be true. I'm running 2 250w MH and 2 T12 Actinics. I opened it last nite and noticed some green liquid inside the wiring area. No water made contact with the powerstrip itself, so Im wondering if its melting wires???

I have read other horror stories with them, lights staying on for entire vacations and cooking everything on the tank, I would not use them with MH
Thats right knockout! Happened last night, woke up at 2, just to find my actinics still on!!!
I'm glad i decided not to go down to Ft. Myers yesterday!
I have never had a problem out of mine, they are sitting right next to the Ballast for my MH's which is an oven when its running. My timer is pulling 3 Koralia PH's 2x250MH and 4 96w PC's
After reading stories I removed my coralife timer and replaced it with some outdoor/water proof timers, they are covered to prevent any water from entering and they have worked very well with no problems. Bought them at Menards.
After I stopped using mine I did take it apart and look for any burn marks and/or problem areas. All was good no salt in side, all looked new. So who knows, I am sure it didn't ever have the load some tanks can have on them.
