Coralife Aqualight 36 inch ? UNDER A CANOPY?

anybody using this light under a canopy.. i am trying to find out if the cooling fan is in the top? my canopy is not totally enclosed and if the fan is in the top of the light it sould be vented ok? any feed back?

I use the coral life fixtures and the fans is on the top. Idk if I would want the light to be enclosed. Personally, I would want as much cool air as possible to be circulated thru the fixture to keep it cool.

I'm using the coralife aqualight Pro w/250w MH on a 65 gallon aquarium. The light has two fans both on the top. It is enclosed in a custom hood that has two 4" fans blowing cool air across the tanks surface from the back and two 4" sucking warm air out the top. I've had some heat issues due to the MH in the tank, but no issues with the light inside the hood.

thanks..maybe i could just install one of those clip on fans if need be
