Coralife power compact lighting.

has anyone bought these and if so how did you like them. also anyone buy the one with lunar lights?

I have one on my 20 gal. I really like it. But I guess it depends on what type of corals you plan on keeping. All my corals seem to be doing great and growning but I have mostly softies. I don't have the one with the lunar lights.

I have them on my tank, too. My set up came with four slim line compacts (10,000K and actnic blue) with a built in fan. It seems to run a bit hot inside the tank canopy. But, I think the lighting looks nice.

I purchased one as well. 48" with moonlite. I love it! I'm not a huge fan of the stilts it sits on but other than that I think it's great.

I have the 48in and I really like it. If you want to go reef then give hellolights.com a look. And all owners needing replacement bulb they have them at a good price and they have the antics03.

Is there a big difference with the Actinics03. I'm really not a fan of the blue that came with the lights

I have the 48 inch one with moonlites also. Working great so far!

I have one on my 55gal. I have the lights on timers so that they do not come on and off at the same time. They are staggard about 1/2 hr apart. The moon lights come on just before the actnic lights go off. I'm using 3 timers. So far it's working out great. I believe that the co. went out of business.

I did the timers thing too. Works great. They did go out of business. Got my light on ---- super cheap.

do the coralife come with athnic or blue i know the custom coral lights come with blue but what color does coralife look like purple color or blue?

The Coralife lights do look more purple than blue but the do not advertise them as antics03. I'm not sure what they are. If you are useing them for reefs then I would get the the antics03 from hellolights. From what I have read the 03 are the new antics. They are cheaper at hellolights as well.

if the bulb lights up purpleish then it should be athnic 03. the 71000k blues look real blue from what i saw. i just wanted to make sure it came with the 03s or not. i am thinking of getting the 48" duel ficture for my 55 gal. i have the ficture my tank came with reg flresent with eclipse daylight lights.

the coralife pc's have actinic 03 written on them, they are purplish, but look white when off. and, it's custom sealife that went out of business, not coralife.

The Custom Sealifes are very blue. Not purple at all.
