Coralife skimmer????

I have a coralife skimmer 125, it is less than a year old and it sometime foams and other times it does not. Any one else have this problem? How did you fix it?

I used one for awhile as a hang on tank. The air intake tube on the pump nozzel would get clogged up and cause alot less bubbles in the skimmer. Also they are sensitive to water height in the tank if using it as a hang on back. There are alot of mods that can be done to this skimmer to make it more efficient.

I used to have the same problem when I had that skimmer. I would have to take out the cover piece that goes into the pump and bore out the nozzle that the air hose is attached to. It would get all clogged up with salt regularly.
I also got a small quiet air pump, with some small air line tubing and hooked it inside the airline of the skimmer and that seemed to help alot.
