coralife skimmer

hope someone can help, new to this site. have a coralife 125 and would need to hook it up outside the sump, can this be done without flooding?

I so hate the coralife skimmer...I gave mine away.
There is a nub on the top of the skimmer near the cup (if memory serves)...put an air line tube on that nub and zip tie the other end so it drips into the DT...when it leaks..that is the spot it comes from and doing what I said makes it drip back into the tank.
If the nub isn't there...post a picture and I'll try and locate it,

will try to get a pic tonight when I get home this one is for sump or hang on,DO NOT want in hanging on my tank, thanks for the info:bw:

If it is in the sump...you are good to go and not have to worry. My coralife was 25 inches tall...two inches too tall for my sump. The cup was hands down the worst ever to try and change. It had a ring I had to tighten and loosen to remove the cup...I so hated that thing, you have no idea. To top it all off...it would skim 1/4th a cup a month...that's the most I ever could get it to skim in the two years I had it on the tank..
