coralife super skimmer

Does anyone have any good or bad thoughts about the coralife super skimmers with needle wheel?

there are a lot of previous threads on this skimmer , just look it up in the search function. Mainly ive heard they are pretty good but have heard a few cases of them overflowing if not set up correctly. I have an reef devil from etss

Fantastic skimmers, in my opinion!
I run the 220 on my 90gal tank.

Very inconsistant skimmers...they do more overflowing than anything else. When it worked...it did work. It just did not work enough for me.
There are so many better ones out there.

I think all the above post have some merit. I have had several and now am using the CCS 125. Some people love them, others don't. They can be inconsistant, but lots of that is because of other tank isssues.

Very true. I've used mine on both my 90gal tank and 200 gal tank...in sump and hang on. It's never once overflowed on me.
