? coraline aglae growth

the coraline aglae on my rock was there colers and now only got one and veary little on it i have five snals one pin urchant and one pepermint shrimp im using aragamilk and my lighting is not that good it starts to grow then i see the snils and urchant on it and then it looks bad what can i do?

Keep your Calcium at 400-450 and your alkalinity at 8-12 DKH and you should be able to grow coraline with no problem given you have enogh lighting. What kind of lighting do you have (Metal Halide, VHO, Power Compact, Normal Output Flourescent? Coralline does really seem to like Actenic lighting provided you have enough.

Agree. But the pinchusion will eat it and leave the rocks bare. Granted that will spread the coraline, but I hated the way it made my tank look, I worked too hard for it. I seen your other post and also agree with removing the urchin. In the long run, IMO, it will be better for corals (when you start to add) and easier on the eye. HTH
