Sure!! It will grow under almost any type of lighting. First, you will have to start with some good coraline growth on L/R in your tank. Next, make sure you alk is at least 2.8meq/l and cal is 400-450 ppm. Also, good circulation is required. Other than that, nothing else is needed. HTH
