Coraline is turning white after skimmer change.

My coraline is losing it's colour and turning white since I upgraded to an aqua c from a red sea skimmer. It's just a small 29. gal. softie tank (Xenia,Shrooms,zoos ect.) So I'm not losing calcium. I put new bulbs in too just in case, but after a month I have noticed more coraline growth but it's white? Any ideas...Lack of Iodine mabee?

What kind of lighting are you using, Did you upgrade? I had my coraline turn white when I switched from PC's to a Metal Halide.

Ya I upgraded the lighting too...should have mentioned that. Everything looks much better, I was just concerned that the coraline isn't growing as fast or as colorful? I guess I'll never be happy as I used to hate how much I would have to scrape LOL!

I just thought It would grow faster under m.h?
