Coraline Propagation??

I have decided to grow coraline on my base rock that I purchased from Hirocks. My main tank is still far from being ready, so I have a large rubermaid tote around 75 gallons that I will fill with water. I have two maxijet 900s for circulation. If I only fill with enough water to submerge the rock will a couple of NO lights be enough to get the coraline to grow. I am planning on ruble from my LFS to help seed the tank. I am also going to use this to get in the practice of taking water parameters and getting the levels correct before I start adding very expensive livestock and corals.
My plan is to have the maxijets for circulation, a drop in heater, and a couple of NO lights 10K and a 50/50. Would this work for getting the coraline to grow, or would problem algea persist and cause me headaches??

Thanks for the info.
I am trying to find an RO/DI locally to use until i can get the $$ for my own. This economy has slowed everything down for me.

FWIW,
Adding very strong currents to the tank would help to spread the coralline spores around the rocks, therefore, possibly getting much more coralline algae to grow.
Supplement with Seachem's Reef Calcium is also highly recommended. It is sugar based so it is not that helpful for much else but is excelent for boosting coralline algae!
